Physics and Nail Polish

Hey guys! It's been an absolutely CRAZY past few weeks, I can't even believe it! Today though I'm showing you some nail art that I did with my new dotting tools (you can order them on ebay, they're fairly inexpensive and are being offered by a ton of sellers!). I present to you, Feynman Diagrams on nails haha! My boyfriend is so passionate about physics and it was his birthday, and he also sent me this picture so I decided to try the design out myself. It wasn't very hard, I just didn't really know what I was doing since I'm not familiar with Feynman diagrams myself but... Here is the attempt!

I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - White On and Blue Me Away!, CG Ruby Deer (I think) and the black striper from It's So Easy Stripe Rite

What do you guys think? Oh and any physics nerds out there? I'm sure you're shaking your head in disapproval of my wonderful squiggles and dots. Sorry!

Thanks for reading guys!
Mandy

Striper polish was kindly sent to me for review.

  1. Hi! I'm Jayne, the creator of the original nails, from Cosmetic Proof and they're actually amino acid nails! Starting with your pinky is Asparagine(N), Glutamic Acid (E), Arginine(R), Aspartic Acid(D) and the thumb is Tyrosine(Y) which spells NERDY using the amino acid alphabet! My degree is in genetics so that's where my inspiration came from! I'm glad you liked them enough to try them out for yourself!

    1. Oh, and here is the full blog entry if you want to see what the right hand spells out! It also explains why I have red and blue dots. http://www.cosmeticproof.com/2012/01/notw-molecular-nails.html
