China Glaze Magnetix

Hello hello! Today I have something very cool to show you! I may just be slow on the take since this kind of polish has been in the spotlight for quite some time now, but I just got two polishes from China Glaze's Magnetix collection (I also got CG's Blue Iguana and Ahoy! Went on a little polish spree.) 

So if you don't know what magnetic polish is, it's just specially formulated polish containing iron particles, which are attracted to a magnet that has been engraved with a pattern. When you hold the special magnet over the wet polish, it'll attract the iron particles and therefore create that design on your nail. Cool eh?

Here's the magnet and the instructions that come with it (the magnet is sold separately from the polishes which is kind of a rip off... But there's a promotion going on at Sally's for the month of March where if you buy 2 Magnetix polishes, then you get the magnet for free.)

Pointer and ring fingers have the chevron design, middle and pinky have diagonal stripes, and thumb (not pictured here) has the star design.

So I haven't had time to swatch the other one even though it's been like 2 months... Woops! Stay tuned I guess for when I'm in the mood to wear the other!
